Tax Preparer Position at Jackson HewittStart a new skill and join our Jackson Hewitt team this tax season. We are looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Tax Preparers at Jackson Hewitt locations in Southwest Florida. No previous tax preparation experience is required. Entry-level candidates are welcome. Selected candidates will complete required tax preparation training before beginning tax-preparation duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using a computer, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn a valuable professional skill.What You Will DoMeet with clients and gather the information needed to prepare their tax returnsPrepare individual income tax returns using Jackson Hewitt systems and proceduresAsk appropriate questions and perform required due diligenceExplain tax information and filing options clearly and professionallyReview returns for accuracy and completenessProtect confidential client and taxpayer informationProvide friendly, professional customer serviceFollow Jackson Hewitt and IRS procedures and office standardsTrainingPrevious tax preparation experience is not required. Selected candidates must successfully complete the required tax training before preparing tax returns for clients.
